The planning continues….

We may be in the dead of winter, but those of us working on Quilts at the Creek 2014 are picturing warm summer days with quilts gently swaying in the breeze. AND we are working to make it more exciting than ever. Here are some quick updates:

Application Forms: New this year! You can download the application here:

As pdf: Q@C application 2014  As word document: Q@C application 2014

When completed, mail it to the address on the form.  You will receive by return mail a label for each quilt submitted. Please attach these either with safety pins or hand sew to bottom right of back side of quilt. We will also be distributing forms and labels through local quilt guilds. Note: you do NOT have to be a member of a guild to enter a quilt.

Featured quilt:  This year we would like to pay homage to  the Log Cabin quilt. It is such a versatile pattern, and it will be exciting to see what YOU have made.  If you have always wanted to make one, now is your chance! More information and links to designs here……

Trunk shows: We have several trunk shows scheduled for both days, don’t miss these. Here is your chance to catch up on what is new/useful/interesting in the quilting world,  and a chance to sit and relax in the Town Hall at Black Creek. Details coming soon!

Want to help? We need volunteers to get the word out! We can always use more volunteers to help promote the show, and distribute information, postcards, and labels, etc. If you’d like to help, either through your guild or in some other way, email us Help us make this show a success again next year!

    Hi Valerie:

What a great idea about Log Cabin Quilts……it is my all time favourite quilt block and I have
made it many times…..I will certainly be entering one this year. Keep up the good work…
we need something ‘warm’ to think about during this very cold, cold winter.
