The quilt applications are flowing in- why do most people wait right until the end to enter their quilts??- and I can promise you an exciting show this year. Here is an update on our various activities:
Workshops: There are a few spots open in the Saturday class, so contact Email Sandy Lindal before that class too is filled. This is the modern paper-pieced quilt that is on the cover of her recently published book, and looks great.
Shop ‘Round the Corner: If you are entering one or more quilts in the show, you can also sell quilt-related items in our Shop ‘Round the Corner. We are taking over the Pioneer Patio, which is just to your left when you enter the park, and this is where your hand-crafted items will be sold. There will be lots of signs, so be sure to check this out.
We are asking for items to be dropped off on Friday this year, as set up takes quite a while. Below are the forms and instructions.. still got questions? Email Shirley Dawson.
Volunteers: What a great way to meet people while at the show! If you are fit and want to help hang the quilts- and see them first!- we can certainly use your help. We also need “white glove ladies”: volunteers to chat with visitors about the quilts they are seeing for a two hour shift either Saturday or Sunday. Contact Jane Cramer. or Sandra Rocca.
