Quilters:

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m Saturday July 23rd and Sunday July 24 2016.

To book one of Kathy Doughty’s classes or get your ticket for her wine & cheese trunk show, email Sandy Lindal. Some spaces available in some classes so contact her soon! More details about these events here.

We need your quilts! Remember, they do not need to be new quilts, just new to us! Any style, any colour. Quilts can be dropped off at Sew Sisters, Log Cabin Yardage or Ruti’s Needlebed the week prior to the show, or at Black Creek on Friday July 22nd. Details here… and if these don’t work for you, email me (Valerie Prideaux), and we can arrange pick up or drop-off.

Does your guild make charity quilts for veterans, women’s shelters, refugees, or other worthy causes? If yes, why not give them a breath of fresh air by hanging them at Quilts at the Creek before they get distributed? We can arrange bulk quilt pick ups- but let us know soon. Contact Valerie for more information.

Your quilt entry gives you free admission to the show and a chance to sell quilt-related items you have made in our Shop ‘Round the Corner. Details available here shortly, or email Shirley Dawson.

And remember the Blue By You challenge (details here). If you were lucky enough to get a Northcott fabric bundle, or were inspired by the colour blue, we want to see your quilt. Should we put them all together or spread them throughout the park? Decisions, decisions. Have you made a quilt from the class you took with Jacqui Gering or Amy Garro? Or have you belatedly finished a challenge quilt? We want to see them!

And of course we can always use a few more volunteers. Spend a few hours chatting with visitors about your favourite subject (quilting), or help us hang/take down the show if you are nimble and spry. Free entry for all volunteers- contact Jane to sign up or for more info.
