Cherrywood is a company that sells hand dyed, highly saturated suede-like fabrics for quilting. In 2018 they issued a challenge to quilters: make a 20 x 20″ quilt inspired by Prince’s music, style, movies, and distinct look using a limited range of saturated purples.
Come to Black Creek Pioneer Village this summer to see the Tribute Tour: 75 of these quilts will be on display in the main building of Black Creek Pioneer Village. The Prince exhibit will be held for 3 days only, from Friday July 26th to Sunday July 27th (separate $5- entrance fee). This is the only Canadian site where you can see these quilts this summer. After this visit they will be shipped to Paducah, Ky., so plan your visit now!
Note: Quilts at the Creek runs Saturday July 27th & Sunday July 28th only.
